Hey everyone just wanted to say hello. New investor looking into buy and hold investing in and around Houston. Just started learning a few weeks ago so I have a lot left to learn. Looking to move some savings out of the stock market and into real estate. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

@Justin Spaulding I just started reading @Brandon Turner book on Rental investing so I am still figuring out what the heck is going on but I am leaning towards single family homes that need some working and smaller multi-family units (duplex/triplex). I have been poking around HAR looking at a few properties. I found one that is "interesting" but I still have a lot to learn.
