Rental Property Insurance Question
One of my rental property is located in the Forest Park Historic District in Springfield MA.
Market value: approximately $170,000
Replacement value $567.000
My bank doesn't offer insurance at the market value; the premium for the replacement value is significantly higher.
Does anyone have a list of companies that will insure my property at the market value instead of the replacement cost value. Also, do insurance companies offer umbrella (blanket) insurance policy for multi-state properties?
Happy Holidays and thanks for taking the time to respond to these questions
