New member from Nashville, TN area

Hey everyone! My wife and I live in Franklin, TN (part of Nashville, TN area) and are looking to start our real estate investment journey and have been interested in doing this for awhile now. We both want to build a sustainable business and know it takes time and education to make it happen. So, we have been reading and learning as much as we can on how to intelligently start investing and found this site/forum that has a tremendous amount of resources. 

If anyone is in the Nashville, TN area has pointers to share or know of some good meet ups to start with, please share. Again, we are just getting start and looking forward to making our first investment in 2016!
