My name is Clayton and I was introduced to this site by a friend/colleague of mine. I am a mortgage banker for work and do that out of Fargo, ND. I have been in banking for the past 15 years. I started in REI a few years ago because the idea of owning rental properties intrigued me and I liked the idea of the income they can make. My wife and I now own 11 properties in Fargo, ND and the surrounding area. All are single family homes and one 8 unit apartment building. We enjoy doing it and are really looking to take our portfolio to the next level. We set a goal of 2-3 properties per year with an eventual end goal of at least 25 by the time we retire. I am interested in growing my network with other investors but really focusing on ways to buy properties without the "conventional" 20% down. My properties cash flow just fine, but I don't like to wait to save that up or borrow from a property's reserve in order to do that. Looking for ideas...thanks!
