New member from NJ & new to the real estate business

My name is Priya and I am living in central Jersey. I have always wanted to start some sort of business and in the past few years I have started to form interest in real estate. At the time, I didn't have the capital and didn't really understand what I needed to do to start flipping houses or even getting rental properties. Now I believe is the right time to join the industry and start applying the knowledge I have learned about the industry and also to learn much much more. I joined BiggerPockets because I heard it was a great source of knowledge and that is something I truly still am looking for. I have also been looking around for properties and haven't found the right one yet to work on my first flip. I am willing to learn and work extremely hard to hopefully quitting my day job and start a business in investing.
