New member from the bottom of Africa

Hi, I am from South Africa and am looking to build up my real estate investments. Currently my portfolio contains a grand total of zero properties, but am looking forward to getting the ball rolling. I am most interested in buying properties to rent out, but as I grow as an investor I see no reason why that can't change. Any advice or encouragement is greatly appreciated. I am also keen to gain knowledge on any aspect of real estate, or anything in general. Never know when something picked up over a conversation can help you.
