Hello everyone! My name is Tim Rehmel. I live in Enid, Oklahoma. I'm an ex-Air Force pilot and train military student pilots in a simulator. I have absolutely no background in real estate, other than buying homes to live in. I'm interested in buy and hold single family rentals. I'm in the "learning phase" right now, reading books, BP content, and listening to BP podcasts. I've also joined a local REIA. Right now my goal is to buy my first property in 2016.

Welcome!

Small world! My husband is active duty navy pilot! We started off buying personal properties and than growing from there into buy and hold. The key for us has been figuring out our demographics. We appeal to high E to O1-O3. So we buy in great neighborhood (second best school districts) and the ugliest house in the best area. This has allowed us to get a great price for a demographic that we can handle any where we are stationed.

As you will find there are tons of different strategies. Feel free to pm if you want to connect

Look forward to seeing you around.
