Hi everyone:

I am looking into starting my career as an investor. Ive been looking into houses for sale by HUD, however the houses are pretty cheap it seems there might be a minus to investing in these homes? I have looked into the particulars of why the homes are for sale its because HUD now owns the homes. You put your bid in and the asset manager accepts your bid or not. If the asset manager accepts your bid and you receive the deed, my question is is there a possibility there are liens on the home or is the HUD homes with no liability for back monies owed? Can someone give me someone give me some insight on this please?
