My name is Ruud and I work as a database administrator at a software development company in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. I really like my job and the response abilities that come with it.

I, and many IT guys with me, are lucky to have a good job security. There is always work if you're good at what you do. I'm aware that the work field can change in the next 5-10 years. That's why I'm currently saving for a down payment for my first buy and hold investment. In the mean time the biggerpockets podcasts help me learn and see different investing strategies.
