Prospective Investor in the Detroit Area
Hi, my name is Ian and I live on the outskirts of Detroit. I'm looking to get into real estate, but I only make about 40k a year. I have 10K in the bank with student loans of roughly 12k. That 10k includes my emergency fund and a little savings for a trip to Europe hopefully in Q3 or Q4 of next year.
Is Detroit a good area to look at to begin investing? I'm looking at other states for jobs in my field to increase my income, should I hold off on investing in case I find something, or jump in now?
It's good to meet you guys, thanks for listening.
