New member from upstate South Carolina

Hi, my name is JD, I am a 26 year old father of 3. I am currently self educating in real estate. I am interested in finding a mentor I can work for. I am going to become a real estate investor to gain financial freedom and leave the rat race. I do like my job but do not like working to make others rich and not gain anything in return besides a JOB(just.over.broke). I have always been interested in real estate and investing but never knew where to start. So here I am starting with education. Any advice is welcomed.
