Newbie from Carrollton, TX

Hi BP Nation!
Immanuel Sibero here from Carrollton, TX. I'm an IT professional during the day and a real estate investor wannabe in the evening. My goal is to be a real estate investor during the day and a couch potato in the evening.

I came across Biggerpockets one night while blindly following every hot link resulting from the search term "real estate investing". I found Biggerpockets to be an excellent source of REI education that I now narrow down my searches to within Biggerpockets.

Currently my focus is on buy and hold, I have two SF rentals in the DFW area. I'm also increasingly interested in wholesaling and fix/flip. However, my immediate goal in the short term is to learn as much as possible and to network with other investors and real estate professionals. In my spare time I enjoy a round of golf, so feel free to drop me a line :-)

• Check out the information under the 'Learn' tab above. In particular the how-to guides and the podcasts.
• Explore the forums for topics that interest you. You can also set up keyword searches fro these topics.
• There are several local BP meetup groups in DFW.
• I attend the North Texas Association of Real Estate Investors monthly meetings (www.ntarei.com). There is a cost to attend these metings, but it a good place to meet other local investors and vendors.
