I have been investing in real estate for the past 3+ years, mostly with tax deed properties but now using other avenues to locate good deals. My main focus is multi-family properties but won't pass up a SFR if the numbers add up. We are currently located in Jackson, MS but tend to move fairly often with my husband's company. I come from a background of 20 years teaching students with special needs while my husband served in the Marine Corps, 5 years as a realtor in San Diego, business owner in the Middle East and now self-employed real estate investor, representing myself as well as some other investors in mostly residential real estate across the country.
