Hi, 

My name is Roger Hartje, I live in Berkeley California. I currently think of myself as 'the accidental landlord' as we have a duplex and a SRF we got at various times for our large family, but as empty nesters saw opportunity. 

We are looking for our first on purpose SFR or duplex. When I say we, I mean my wife and I - we both have different versions of what that looks like - I with spreadsheet vision, her with homey visions.

Of note, I retired young with a disability so I have plenty of time to spend, but cannot do rehabs even though sometimes I think I can. 

Going to be a heck of a ride!
