New member from CT

Hi everyone, my names Nelson and I'm a member from CT.  I've been a lurker for a while just looking for some information on real estate investing and got inspired to go for it.  I've seen the amount of money that can be made,  and lost,  in real estate but it just interests me very much. My father currently rents out a two family home so I have seen a little bit of how the operations of being a landlord works and what to expect.   I currently just got past the pre approval process and am now looking for a multifamily home in my area to rent out.  It's somewhat overwhelming considering I'm very young and still have very much to learn but I hope with the guidance from fellow forum members and research on my part that everything will go smoothly. I hope to chat with many of you soon!
