Hello BP Nation!

I'm Matt Santos from Port Orchard, Wa. Husband, Father of two and a career Firefighter. I've been involved in RE since I bought my first house in 1998 at age 22. Since then, I've fixed and flipped several homes and created a duplex (detached garage converted to 2 bed, 1 bath) that I also sold. I was a landlord for a brief time and eventually sold that place too.

I took a big hit in the recession due to a divorce (perfect timing) and now I'm getting back into the swing of things, armed with some perspective and maturity.

Right now, I'm looking for that first deal, financing options and creating my business plan. I really need to have some like-minded people in my circle, so I'm always open to chat. I have a background as a Realtor for 5 years, a remodeler and a handy man. As a Firefighter, I'm paid to help and solve people's problems and I carry that mindset into my business dealings.

I'm definitely looking forward to a BP meet up in my area (Puget Sound), so if there's one coming up, let me know.
