Hi Everyone,

I have owned my home going on two years and looking to learn everything I can about investing. Ideally, I would like to own about 5-6 rental properties by 2020. I hope this site will give me knowledge, connections, and help start me off of the right path. Besides owning my own home, and renting several years prior, I have no other experience in the real estate market.

I value everyones advice!

Thank you!

Welcome Courtney,

One great resource in our area is the Rhode Island Investors Meeting, held every third Thursday of the month at the Hilton Garden Inn in Warwick. It is great for networking, finding cash buyers, as well as getting recent news about properties in the area.

As previously mentioned, two great books that I have referenced are J. Scott The Book on Flipping Houses and The Book on Estimating ReHab Costs. Both have been very helpful when I begin investing and working on deals.

I look forward to working with you. Best of luck!

Richard
