Looking to invest outside of CA

Hi! My name is Darin and so far I have been investing close to home in CA. I have been very frustrated with the market and the competition out here. So now, I'm looking to take my business out of state.  I have been looking in the Milwaukee and Cleveland markets.  I'm a little nervous being so far away but I'm getting ready to make my move. I'm really interested in Buy and Holds especially bulk deals if I can find the funding.  I'm also looking to do some flips to generate some funding for Buy and Hold deals.  I'm glad I found this site.
