Relocated member now in East Tennessee

Good morning Bigger Pockets!

I have been a member of Bigger Pockets for about a year now but I'm re-releasing myself to the wild because I've recently moved down south to East Tennessee.  We moved from central Massachusetts down to live in the Tri-cities area.  To be specific we live in Bristol, TN.

My long term strategy is to be a buy and hold investor in multi family or mobile homes (since they are very prevalent in East TN).  We are trying to build up to that though over the next couple of years starting with single family rentals.  Right now we are looking at foreclosures, REOs and FSBOs in and around Bristol.

Are there any local REIAs or networking events that anyone is aware of? Any other suggestions or tips for a new investor to the area would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike
