New Investor from Hawaii

Hi BP,

My name is Duc Ong.  I'm a math teacher in Honolulu, HI.  I'm looking to invest out of state, as the market in Honolulu is too expensive for cash flow.  I'm more of a buy-and-hold investor, and I'm mainly looking for passive investments.

    @David Veikune

    I've cashflowed with 0 down on a property plus value add and a refi in Makaha.  And I am currently cashflowing on another property which I put 20% down.  I just bought another in Aiea.  I also put 20% down on this one in Aiea because I knew the demand was going to be fierce for this property and I wanted to lock up the seller in a contract ASAP.

    Let's have lunch one day.  I'd like to see a BiggerPockets Hawaii chapter, where we can all sit down and have coffee/tea/beer/whiskey in that order, haha.
