New member from Louisiana - MBA student looking to learn!

I'm currently getting my MBA, and I hope to move away to a larger city after graduating. Highly considering Texas (Houston? Dallas? Austin?) for the massive business potential it offers, but I have not made up my mind. I intend to invest in, and someday develop, real estate. I don't have the funds to get started right away, so I'm learning all I can so that when I do move away, I'll be as prepared as possible.

Hey Marcus,

Welcome to the site! I have only been a member a few weeks and have been listening to the podcasts everyday. I have been taking notes and reading/lurking the forums. Make sure to setup keyword alerts and explore the site and everything it has to offer. Also, the The Book on Flipping Houses by J. Scott that was published by Bigger Pockets is excellent for those wanting to flip or purchase buy and hold properties. Maybe I'll see you at a local meet up. Good luck!
