Hi everyone,

I've recently become interested in diverse streams of income to fund my retirement. I'm listening to several rental property podcasts but it seems most of the starter-level investments are elsewhere in the country. Joining BP to evaluate the market and see if there are any opportunities closer to home in the greater Los Angeles area.

Welcome to the site @Stefan Owechko. What are your goals when it comes to investing in this marketplace. If it's cash-flow may be difficult in your backyard due to the rising prices in property values.

Often times the best option is out-of-state investing. Where you can achieve in certain markets a good purchase price to rent ratio.
