Newbie Investor in Ithaca, NY

Hi everyone! My boyfriend and I just bought our first investment property in Ithaca, NY. We bought a three unit multi-family house with a total of thirteen bedrooms. We are currently rehabbing the place, which will be rented to college students in the area. What a huge learning curve we are experiencing! But we are so happy to have finally taken the plunge to create a better life for ourselves. I currently work as a personal trainer and my boyfriend is an interior painter. Our mutual passion is martial arts and our goal is to build enough wealth through real estate investing to open a martial arts school/retreat wellness center. My own personal goal is to own property in other countries. I did a significant amount of volunteering abroad in my twenties and would love to be able to own property in many of the countries I traveled to. We look forward to learning with everyone here and sharing our journey and process too!
