Hello.  I currently live in NJ but I work in NY, NY where I am originally from.  I've purchased two primary houses and 1 investment property.  One primary was in Brooklyn, back in '89, which I no longer own and the other is in West Orange, NJ where I currently live.  I wanted to get into real estate, so I brought an investment property in NJ without any experience whatsoever.  I ran into some problems and didn't know now to solve them with the rental property when the market crashed.  Lost a lot but I want to get back on track, learning how to invest wiser and make better decisions.  Another problem I definitely had was that I didn't have a good contractor as well as an exit strategy.  Looking to gain more knowledge and build a real estate portfolio that will generate enough income to quit my 9-5.  I have a willingness to work hard, study and listen.  Eventually, I would like to build something where disadvantaged kids in lower income neighborhoods have a safe place to play and study and develop their skills.
