Hi Bigger Pockets community. My name is Brian Hibbard and I'm interested in getting into real estate investing. I am an electrician that has worked for investors before. I've worked on flips and at rentals. That being said I see the money that can be made on properly managed flips.

My interest is buy and hold properties that I can build long term wealth with. Being that I work in such a cyclical sector this added rental income would help my family greatly.

I've spent some time reading blog and forum posts and whatever I could the past few years and figured there's no time like the present to start a new direction financially.

I'd love to find experienced knowledge or friend that can share their experiences and give that extra motivation to take that frightening first step. I'm not afraid of work or getting dirty. So any help I can contribute to anyone local. Please I'm always available to work for knowledge.

For now I'm learning all I can absorb. Thank you for the great posts.  This community is a world of knowledge.
