Hi all. I'm a high school Economics teacher in upstate NY. I wanted to run a small business to help me and my students understand the "real" economy and actual economic dynamics better and I also wanted to get serious about generating $ for retirement. I love to read and, after reading a book about real estate investing, found the skill set similar to teaching in many ways. I now own 5 rental properties and, thus far, am enjoying the process.
