Hello BP. I have been reading posts from the forum for the past few months, but this is my first post. I have listened to 15 podcasts so far and I am soaking up everything I can.
A little about myself. I have been a general contractor and built 27 homes. I am still in construction and I am looking into buying real estate as an investment. I still have several GC friends, realtor in place, both residential and commercial financing contacts.
I have made about a dozen offers on sfr's within the past 6 months and missed out for one reason or another on each of them.
Currently I am looking at a multi unit investment and they offer seller financing for up to 3 years. They want to meet in person with each of our realtors to hash out the deal next week. My realtor says it is an old school way of doing a deal, but I am looking forward to it. I would be interested in any feedback for people who have done deals like this in the past
