Hello!

I've been lurking and enjoying the content on bigger pockets for a while so it only makes sense to join.

We have always had one or two rent houses but my husband and I have just recently purchased two duplexes that need a lot of work. It's the most we've ever taken on at one time and I could use some advice and encouragement. They have been poorly maintained but are in a highly desirable location.

My biggest challenge is knowing how far to go in a remodel. I get tempted to do crazy stuff like cedar line the closets :) To go granite or not to go granite...tell me how you decide and prioritize!

Thanks! Cheryl
