Brand new member from the Pittsburgh, Pa area

Hey everyone! My name is Lindsay, I'm brand new to this and I'm currently living in Dormont, a small area 10 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, Pa. I am really motivated and ready for a change in my life and I'm highly interested in starting a real estate investing business from the ground, all the way up to financial freedom. I do have a partner and we would like to start to invest in real estate in the Pittsburgh area. We have gone to both Fortune Builders and Success Paths 3-day events. We have aquired so much knowledge between the 2 seminars but would really like some more advice, knowledge, opinions. Just general help in getting started. We are going to create an LLC, in which eventually we want to have our own Property Management Co, for or rentals. We both would also like to learn how to wholesale and when I bring this topic up in other forums I get a lot of lost response, meaning, others have never heard of wholesaling homes. Looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say!!

Hi @Lindsay Hovis  Welcome to BP! We're right down the street from you in Carnegie. If you haven't already, check out the Bigger Pockets podcasts. There is a ton of information here. Also, there are a lot of meetups and real estate groups around Pittsburgh. Definitely try and check those out as well. Happy to help if you need anything!
