NEWBIE IN CHICAGO!!!

Hello BP Community, 

My name is Devin Burks and I am 25 year old veteran from Chicago, IL, currently living in the south suburbs. About a year ago, I enrolled in the JAY MORRISON academy and started learning about real estate, and wholesale deals. Unfortunately, I could not afford to complete that education however, I didn't let that deter me. I continued to grow my knowledge buy reading books, listening to NUMEROUS podcast, and joining Bigger Pockets (I have been a member a couple weeks and just been reading and not participating). 

As far as wholesaling goes, I have listened to the gurus, purchased an LLC for my company, Nobility Real Estate Investments, got the website (www.nobilityrealestate.com), business cards, instagram page the whole 9. Now I need to start making contacts and continue to grow my knowledge so I am prepared when that first deal happens. Putting my first set of bandit signs up this weekend on friday night, and I mailed about 500 yellow letters in this first week of life for my company.

Lastly, I am currently enrolled in the Real Estate Agent course for Illinois and I am very excited to get in the real estate industry FULL TIME!!
