Hello everyone,
I currently sail the great lakes, and make a very good living doing so, and have been advancing my career rather rapidly and have nothing to complain about in that regard. I have become good friends with my landlord, and have taken interest into the real estate business as a result.
I am just finishing my required education for my Residential Builders license and will begin working on the education requirements for Real Estate Salesperson and possibly Limited Appraiser later on down the road.
I currently am renting, and in about 2 years my finances will allow that to change, in the mean time, I have plenty of time to do some market research into a few cities I have in mind to move to and start buying houses to fix up and modernize to eventually rent or sell.
I have been thinking of a couple ways to approach doing real estate, whether to do rentals or sell as part of an HOA. The ultimate end would be owning a neighborhood that would be a little aged, and purchasing houses one by one and create a higher class community out of it.
As I am sure many of you know, the variables are too great to count, and a lot of things can change. I have focused more on being a builder thus far and am just getting into the real estate end of things, so I have a long way to go and this community seems like a great place to start and get ideas and advice.
I look forward to talking with you much more in the future.
