Hello Bigger Pockets,

I'm Marcus, a newbie to REI from the Detroit metro area. My wife and I are interested in flipping single family homes, in the Detroit and surrounding areas. BP seems like a great place to get started and start networking. I've been browsing the site for like a week now and I love how much information is here and how welcoming the community is. My wife and I are really eager to get our first property and start flipping! Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Any seasoned vets out there from the area with some "jewels" to share? We're open ears. Thanks!
