Hello from Washington!
Here we go! I'm Chelsea! According to non-investors or the faint of heart, I am absolutely crazy (and that's alright!). I recently struck my first deal. I wasn't planning on buying a hoarder home as my first investment. But I did. And oh boy, what an adventure I've been on in just one month.I planned to quit my full-time job as a barista by August 2016 to pursue a career in RE. I'll be posting pictures of the progress I have been making on this property so you all can see the transformation (just be happy I can't share the hoarder house smell that was trapped inside the home!). Here is a peek at the half-way point of cleaning the downstairs area. An ocean of garbage,6 dead rats later and currently up to 90-contractor sized garbage bags I've hauled out of JUST this room (really wishing I had remembered to take pics from the start, as some of the piles of garbage were towering way over me).
