Newbie from Michigan

Hi my name is Joel Felan, a total newbie from Michigan. Live in Plymouth in western Wayne county. Currently working in IT and looking for investors/mentors in the area to learn from. I am hard working, a quick learner and have excellent customer service skills. I am willing to do the grunt work to learn how to suceed in REI. Don't have a lot of funds to start out with so I am reading a lot here on the forums. Any advice on where and how to get started would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to meeting other REI's in the area.
