New Investor From Minnesota

Hello BiggerPockets!

I am so excited to be here! My name is Erik Stewart and I am a relatively new investor from the Moorhead, Minnesota area (Fargo, North Dakota as well). I got my start in real estate during college by purchasing a single family home in 2009 in Moorhead and renting out rooms to a few friends. Later that year I bought another single family home in my home town, a population of 2,000, to gain experience in renovation and being a landlord. Flash forward 6 years and I now have a beautiful fiancé, promising career, and a non-friendly (but sometimes cute) chihuahua but not another property!

I have learned, mostly the hard way, that owning real estate can be, at times, maddening but very rewarding. I still have a long road ahead, however, thus why I am eager to join this community! I am ready to revive my real estate investing, converse with the like-minded, and learn from the many established investors taking the time to give back!

Any questions, comments, etc. would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Erik
