Ready to Dive In in Washington, DC
Greetings Everyone!
I've been checking out articles, forums, and educational materials for the last month or so. I figure it's time to introduce myself and dive in. I'm a newbie investor in the DC metro area who plans to pursue a buy and hold strategy. I haven't ruled out other potential investment niches though.
I worked in commercial real estate for 3 years right out of undergrad negotiating leases for federal tenants. I also worked on the financial aspects of a public-private real estate partnership valued at $110M. Despite being in the RE industry, I lost sight of my desire to invest! I found it again, and this time, I'm committed to turning it into reality.
I genuinely respect the community you all have developed here and look forward to participating and getting to know you.
