Buy & Hold Investor in San Antonio & Austin market

Hey Bigger Pockets family!

First and foremost... I LOVE this site. I have been lurking in the shadows for quite some time and feel like its time to finally --you guessed it-- come out of the investing closet. :)

Fired up to be here and meet the community! Eager to learn!

To tell you a little bit about myself...

I'm a newer investor, I have 3 buy and hold properties, one in Austin and two in San Antonio. My goal is to have 10 fully paid off properties by the time I'm 30 and 100 paid off by the time I'm 35! (Currently 27 yrs old). All of my properties are SFH and would not be opposed to getting some smaller multi family soon. I am blessed and have my own business which allows me to have the capital to invest. I have a strong and aggressive goal and want to learn everything that I can, and would love to connect with local San Antonio, Austin, and any investors in the I-35 corridor as well! (New Braunfels, San Marcos, Kyle/Buda).

I typically have been and interested in investing in mostly middle class properties and up. Typically looking for SFH that would bring at least minimum 1,000 in gross rental income a month, homes in decent neighborhoods that not only cash flow but would appreciate over time. I also hire a property manager to manage them, being a landlord is not exciting for me so I would rather use my time to raise more capital and hopefully invest more. :)

Very happy to say hello to the Bigger Pockets gang! I've learned so much from the shadows from you guys! Blessed to be here!

-Gonz

Gonz your on the right track for sure. I know tons of people want to own the properties free and clear but to get to your goal quick you might want to review the velocity of money and tax benefits of financing. I teach this myself to many students and events I speak at. Your mind will be blown but all depends on your goals. Wish you all the best. Im happy to answer any questions you may have.
