New to Detroit - Getting to Know the Area

Hi BP Community!

First off, thanks for being my main source of information over the past few months as I've begun familiarizing myself with real estate investment, especially as it pertains to Detroit! You've been an incredible help.

I moved to Detroit from Providence RI (via Las Vegas and previously Boulder) to work for a property management company, and am currently working in a converted mansion in New Center that some of my friends and co-workers rehabbed. It's used as a co-working space for startup companies here in the city and it's been amazing to see the growth in New Center and the surrounding neighborhoods in Detroit.

I'm always anxious to chat about real estate investment here in Detroit and look forward to connecting with many of you in the future!
