Hello BP community....

I have been lurking a bit and spending a good amount of time digesting the BP podcast series.  (I still have a way to go)

My wife and are are newly empty nesters trying to speed up our retirement saving.  We have no debt, a modest income and a home with good equity.  We have cash flow monthly and have managed to save well for the past year.  I am terrified of the stock market and feel that my future lyes in realestate.

I have a local mentor that has been holding my hand a bit and explaining his buy and hold system to me.  I believe he currently is holding 10 doors. He has substantially more monthly cash flow due to being a business owner and therefor is moving faster.

My wife and I have decided to "GO FOR IT" and start with shopping for a property with a goal of 5 total, producing a retirement income of $5000 a month once paid for.

Thats the short version of who we are and what we are doing.

Thank you for the community!!  Looking forward to learning from and with you!
