The Driven Long Islander :)
Hello everyone!
My name is Lisa. I am a new real estate investor and I am in the process of learning (which continues always) and building my team; agents, attorney, contractors etc. I am also in the process of building a cash buyers list.
My current plan is primarily wholesaling and flipping, and will grow to rehabbing as I become more experienced. I think that 'buy and sell' options are best until I build up a cash base that will allow me to buy and hold. My current area is not the easiest one for the type of work that I'm doing so I will be building multiple teams nationwide since I have access to properties anyway.
I have a mentor so that (hopefully) I don't make too many dreadful mistakes but I like being able to have different/multiple perspectives that are available here.
I am absolutely driven to make this work. My regular job is a good one, but it's not going to let me retire in the style that I want so here I am. :)
