My name is Thomas Shanley and I am from the tri state area in New York. I am in my late twenties, previously I was in investment banking and recently just bought into my first franchise. In order to buy the franchise I raised money from investors through a limited partnership so I have a good understanding of how to raise money.  Also at my last firm I worked in the venture capital division and was raising money from high net worth individuals and institutions.

I have been looking to get into real estate investing for sometime, looking at commercial . My goal is buy and hold and to acquire multi family and apartment buildings and build a real estate empire.

BP is great I have been reading through all the forums and listening to the podcasts.

In addition to my background my father also owns a reputable  general contracting firm, mainly focuses on commercial projects at the moment but has done residential as well.

So i think I have a good background to succeed in real estate investing

Thanks,

Tom
