New Investor from Michigan

Hello Biggerpockets,

I am a new investor from Kalamazoo, Michigan. After reading the forums, reading all the books I could get my hands on, and listening to nearly every BP podcast in the past 2 months, I've decided it's time to take some action and start getting involved. I plan to fix n flip houses in the Kalamazoo/Portage area and use the income from the flips to invest in rental houses. I've been actively searching for my first deal and eager to start my investing career.

@Josiah Swartz has put together a meetup that meets the first Tuesday of every month at the Panera on West Main. I recommend coming to that. It's been a great tool to keep us all on track and to ask for advice!
