Greetings fellow Bigger Pocketers!!!!

I realized that I've been on the site for awhile and I've never properly introduced myself to the rest of the community.

I was born and raised in the greatest city on Earth!! I joined the Marine Corps fresh out of high school in 2004. I first became aware of the passive income side when I met a landlord who rented to college kids in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. He had dropped out of college and bought up every spare inch of space and converted it into fully furnished apartments that he rented to kids for ungodly amounts of money that their parents happily shelled out every month. It was a small seed that stayed in the back of my head up until I got out in 2008 and began my next career as a Security Contractor in Afghanistan.

Fast forward to now and I currently own 26 units in Fulton, Ny. Mostly one and two bedrooms with 3 storefronts. I'm coming into my 4th year and to say that I could write a book about my triumphs and mistakes over these years is an understatement. I wouldn't be able to do it without my property manager and my contractor. Two people who have gone above and beyond everyday to deal with every issue that might arise, big or small.

With all of that being said I'm looking to move back home in the next two years and begin another adventure in apartment syndications. I have zero experience when it comes to finding and executing deals for investors. I have several people now who want to invest with me but I would feel better having more on the ground experience before I head off on my own. What I do have is tenacity and the will to learn from the ground up without throwing in the towel of things don't work out as planned.

If anyone reads this who IS or KNOWS of someone who is looking for an apprentice in Apartment Syndication, PLEASE send me their information!! I'm looking forward to networking and making friends on here; and if I can possibly answer a question about do and donts, just ask.

Here's to accomplishing our goals and thanks for reading!!

Jared
