Newbie from Lawrence, KS

Hello Everyone,

I am new to BiggerPockets and this is my second "beginning" in real estate investing.  In 2008, I lost everything and had to start over.  So, I am looking to not make the same mistakes twice.  My expertise is real estate financing (I was a commercial lender for 10 years) and currently I assist my boss in his real estate ventures (analyzing deals, structuring purchases, leasing, financing).  I recently purchased my first rental house and look to add more to my portfolio in the coming years.  I hope to obtain some advice through the forums on how other individuals are getting deals done.
