Looking to get into real estate investing!

Hello All-

I am looking to get into real estate investing.  I am currently a Project Manager for a National General Contractor and over the years have realized my true passions fall in real estate.  I will be taking my real estate agent course soon as a first step.  I hope to start buying & renting or flipping depending on each scenario as my long term career.   I would appreciate any advice or connections.  I am now living in Old Saybrook, CT.  If there are any investors on here that are anywhere near this area, let me take you to lunch and pick your brain! I am also interested in helping out others in the area as a way to learn, whatever you may need.  Thanks!
