Hello!

My name is Victoria Liang, and I have no real background in Real Estate, but I'm here to change that! I recently discovered this community via google search, and as someone who is aspiring for Financial Independence, Buy and Hold Real Estate Investing looked very attractive to me. Some background: I am a recent college graduate from the Silicon Valley who just started working full-time in Seattle, Washington in Software Engineering.

I'm new to this business, so I don't really have a specific long-term plan as of now. It's also been hard for me to start making a plan because I'm moving back to the Bay Area in a few years, and it seems like neither Seattle(I won't be here long, anyway) nor the Bay have particularly affordable properties (my budget is about 30k, maybe 40 if I save really hard). Despite really wanting to self-manage my first property, I have been exploring turnkey opportunities. I know buying turnkey is more expensive, but I don't really know how else to invest out of state. If you guys have any suggestions or advice as to how I can get into local investing on a budget, it would be greatly appreciated!

Looking forward to picking your brains,

Victoria
