Newbie in NYC/Portland, OR
Hello all.
Rob here. Live in Astoria, Queens. Originally from Brooklyn/Staten Island, I recently returned to NY after living in Portland Oregon for 9 years.
I have a background in Audio Engineering and Music Production, plus day jobs with benefits. No experience in real estate, but i'm pretty convinced that investments + revenue streams is a better way to live than hourly/salary pay.
My goal is to find a rental property to invest in, in either Portland or NYC, within the next 18 months. Longer term, i'd like to mix real estate investments combined with other income generating endeavors. For now, i'm looking to learn and connect as much as possible before my first investment!
