I am Dan. I have a beautiful wife and two daughters under the age of three. I currently make decent pay at shift work but I have wanted to get into real estate for a couple years now. My only experience is from purchasing a house in CO before moving back to AK for a job and having renters in it for the next 3 years. We just sold the CO house and paid off a older, rundown place up here which I have been fixing up and remodeling. We have a small amount set aside after all this which we plan to use as a down payment on our first purchase. While researching how to get started and find the right start up property I stumbled across Brandon and BiggerPockets. I am here to meet like minded people who can share experiences that will help me as I start out turning my life in the direction that takes me away from a boss who decides my schedule, income, and in some degree my future success. I look forward to meeting other people that are passionate about becoming financially free to enjoy a future built by our own efforts.
