Hi!  My name's Kristie and I moved out to Vegas about a year ago for my job.  I'm a young attorney who represents lenders in mortgage and real estate litigation.  Love Vegas, and I'm passionate about real estate and want to break into investing.  My goal is to get to the point where I no longer need to do the lawyer thing anymore.

My partner and I will hopefully be closing on our first house soon (a short sale).  We love the house, so we were planning on renovating it, living in it, and taking out an equity loan to start flipping properties with.  At this point though we are just trying to learn as much as possible, including what the best strategy would be to build our portfolio/wealth.

Discovering this site was like discovering a treasure trove of information.  I almost don't know where to start.  But I wanted to introduce myself and say hi!
