I'm a 34 y/o pharmacist by trade, but in looking forward to the future, I'm realizing that the traditional 401k or IRA is a terrible way to position myself to be financially free. I'm one who loves helping others, but if I'm not financially free, my ability to help others will be greatly diminished. The research I've done so far has led me to real estate, and I'm ready to dive in and get to it. I'm looking to gather knowledge and experience, and if there is a seasoned investor out there looking for someone to mentor, I would love to talk to you as I think having a mentor is crucial. I love BiggerPockets.com so far and look forward to being part of the community.

Don't discount the IRA and 401K as vehicles to retirement. They can be used in real estate investment and are great ways to build a retirement. I help clients all the time with them. You can contact me if you need any more information.
